Terms of Service
Last updated October 24, 2026
These terms are a contract between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("Road", "we", "us") for the Road Discord bot, dashboard and website (the "Service").
1. Accepting these terms
By signing in, adding the Road bot to a server or buying Premium you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a Discord server or organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for it.
2. The Service and Discord
Road is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Discord Inc. You must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines whenever you use Road.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use Discord in your country if that is higher.
3. Your account
You sign in with your Discord account. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your Discord account secure. Tell us immediately if you believe your account was used without permission.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- send spam, unsolicited direct messages or messages to members who did not agree to receive them, including through the broadcast tool;
- harass, threaten, impersonate or harm anyone, or share illegal, hateful or sexual content involving minors;
- break any law or Discord's rules, or help others do so;
- attack, overload, scrape, reverse engineer or try to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- resell, sublicense or copy the Service without our written permission.
5. Your content and bot tokens
You keep ownership of the settings, messages and images you add ("Your Content"). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process and display Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you.
You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to it. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.
If you add a Discord bot token (for example for broadcasts or a custom bot), you confirm the bot is yours, and you are responsible for how it is used. We store tokens encrypted and use them only to run the features you enable.
6. Premium subscriptions
Premium is a paid subscription for one Discord server, billed monthly or yearly in advance through our payment processor Stripe. The price and currency are shown before you pay. Taxes may apply.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from "Manage subscription" on the server's Premium page; Premium then stays active until the end of the period you already paid for and does not renew.
We may change prices for future periods. A new price applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you in advance so you can cancel before it applies.
Which features are Premium may change over time. We will not remove the core Premium features of a period you already paid for.
7. No refunds
All payments are final and non-refundable, except where mandatory law says otherwise. Our Refund Policy is part of these Terms and explains this in detail.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error free or always available. The Service depends on Discord and other providers whose outages are outside our control.
We may add, change or remove features at any time.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your servers and signing out.
We may suspend or end your access, or remove the bot from a server, if you break these Terms or Discord's rules, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Payments are not refunded when access ends because these Terms were broken.
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Moderation and security features help but do not guarantee your server will be free of abuse.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Road is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or damage to your Discord server or community. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
12. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for claims and costs caused by your breach of these Terms or by Your Content.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY]. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We will show the new date at the top of this page and, for important changes, tell you in the dashboard before they apply. Using the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
